Fake Weed Carp Rigs - Hide End Tackle
This weed rig helps to catch more carp by disguising the end tackle. The fake weed rigs require pop up baits and can be used in margins next to small weed beds. This rig is one way to disguise your rig end tackle, giving you more change to catch the bigger carp.
The plastic weed actually floats which is why it's best to use with pop up presentations. The weight from the lead causes the weed to stand straight so it blends in well with other weeds or amongst other debris.
The rig line is threaded through a few small clips on the weed stem and the clips are pushed back to hold the line against the weed. To complete the weed section a standard swivel is tied on the bottom end of the weed.

Boomerang Snip from the Boomerang Tool Company

The Snip offers anglers an effective alternative to awkward, easily misplaced cutting tools like scissors or nail clippers. Compact, lightweight, yet extremely durable, it features precise, corrosion-resistant “Grade 420” stainless steel blades that slice through monofilament, fluorocarbon, and even braid, like butter.

Berkley Hotwire Line Cutter
At first glance the Berkley TEC Hotwire line cutter, looked like a police taser with its wire tip and activation button on the grip. A clear plastic shield is fitted over the tip in order to protect it while not in use and you should heed the warning label that is clearly placed here – as this is one “Hot Tip.” Overall, the tool is small enough to stow in any anglers tackle box or holdall when not in use as it’s overall length is about 7 inches . The line cutter features an LED light, a replacement Tungsten tip, and has the TEC tool colors along with the ergonomic comfort grip Berkley calls SofTorx.
